More expensive garbage! Even modern micro-capsules are actually SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER than the pixels in standard-res monitors. Most low to mid resolution/DPI E-Ink displays actually have dozens of Micro-Capsules per each electrode controlling the pixel. ...Which means the extra resolution is already lost. ...And that you probably wouldn't even see anything smaller than them anyways. It'd be like advancing past a 4K Monitor. Diminishing, pricy, useless returns. This technology is going the wrong way!

From Jablonski diagram, I learn that timescale of Intersystem Crossing (ISC) is 10-8 - 10-3 s and that of other process are much faster than ISC. Phosphorescence occurs at 10-4 - 10-1 s.
